During the State of the Black Union conference I heard a very articulate and knowledgeable quote on why Afromerican voted for President Obama.
"It was not a T Shirt, a Song or the Color of Ones
Skin, it was Life for which a many African Americans voted for Barack
Obama"
This is reason one, we should not allow those in power to define our existence, purpose and needs in life.
It is we whom should be tasked with leading, stating and bringing into existence our dreams of freedom and prosperity which in-turn creates a true hard fought reality of who, why and what we are.
