Just as Apple evolved from Wozniak's personal passions, he advised the GSU students to find interesting projects to work on the side — not for profit, but for self-fulfillment.
"If you try to do a bunch of projects for yourself," Wozniak said, "you develop skills that are so good, it'll put you up in the cream of the crop, and any company will want you based on these skills."
Companies ought to give employees access to resources and tools to work on personal projects, Wozniak said
